Project Overview
To support the R&D and validation of cutting‑edge technologies such as novel cementitious materials, solid‑waste‑based building materials and low‑carbon cement, a pilot‑scale test line has been constructed. Featuring flexible processes, precise parameters, stable operation and traceable data, this pilot line fulfills the critical transition requirements from laboratory formulations to industrial‑scale amplification.
Solution
Core Equipment Configuration
As the core equipment supplier, Zhengzhou Mining Machinery provides tailor‑made and fully‑delivered pilot‑scale powder thermal processing, grinding and granulation systems, mainly including:
- Rotary Kiln: Φ0.8 m × 8 m, dual‑mode heating by electric power / gas, temperature control accuracy ±5 ℃, suitable for multi‑condition simulation of low‑temperature calcination, medium‑temperature activation and high‑temperature sintering.
- Vertical Cooler: High‑efficiency quenching design, discharge temperature ≤80 ℃, effectively preserves material activity and improves subsequent grinding efficiency.
- Vertical Roller Mill: Integrated grinding and powder‑separating functions, adjustable fineness (80‑400 mesh), low noise and energy‑saving, compatible with diverse raw materials (slag, steel slag, desulfurized gypsum, etc.).
- Disc Granulator: Continuous pelletizing rate >90 %, uniform and adjustable particle size (3‑10 mm), meeting forming requirements for granular building materials or catalytic carriers.
- Ball Mill: High‑precision laboratory‑grade grinding for final fineness adjustment and performance verification.
Technical Highlights
1. Full‑process closed‑loop verification capability: Realizes integrated “research‑testing‑production” covering raw material pretreatment → calcination → cooling → grinding → granulation → finished‑product inspection.
2. Low‑carbon & green orientation: All equipment is designed for low energy consumption and low emission, with interfaces for waste‑heat recovery, aligning with the “dual‑carbon” transformation of the building‑materials industry.
3. Intelligent control system: Centralized PLC+HMI control; key parameters (temperature, rotating speed, feeding rate, electric current, etc.) are collected and recorded in real time, supporting remote commissioning and data analysis.
4. Modular quick‑assembly structure: Adapted to limited‑space layout in research institutes; installation cycle shortened by 40 %, convenient for subsequent process adjustment and equipment upgrading.
