A grate cooler is a quenching cooling device. After rotary kiln roasting, lithium concentrate enters the cooler from the kiln head and forms a material layer of a certain thickness on the grate plates. The blown cold air passes vertically through the moving material layer on the grate bed to quench the clinker, which can rapidly cool the hot material from 1050~1200℃ to below 100℃ within several minutes.
