Disc granulator have been used in the buildingmaterials industry for a long time. There are many types and models, and eachhas its own characteristics and differences. For the ceramsite industry, ourcompany has designed a PQW disc-type pelletizer on the basis of the originalpelletizer in the building materials industry, drawing on the advantages ofother types of pelletizers. Compared with the traditional ball-forming disc, ithas high technological innovation and transformation, which greatly improvesthe quality and efficiency of the ball formation.
After pretreatment and humidification, the rawmaterials are metered and then transported to the feeding position of the discgranulator. At the same time, the material is atomized and added water at thefalling point. The material rolls in the disc to form a nucleus ball. Thenucleus combines with each other to form a pellet with the required particlesize.

Notes during theusing process:
1. During the installation process, it isnecessary to pay attention to the direction of the ball disc and the directionof the scraper to be consistent, otherwise it will easily burn the motor;
2. The position of the discharge opening of theball tray should be determined according to the plasticity of the material. Theposition of the discharge opening of the material with lower plasticity shouldbe set at the lower right of the scraper; the position of the discharge openingof the material with higher plasticity should be set at the upper left of thescraper ; But it is not allowed to use the past coverage method to cut thematerial;
3. When the pre-humidified material ispelletized by the pelletizing disk, the rotation speed should not be too low.To form a full-disk pelletization, when the rotation speed is too low, it willaffect the pelletizing speed and quality;
4. The flow of incoming materials must bestrictly controlled. If the flow into the disc is large, it will result in alow efficiency of ball formation or a poor quality of the ball; the small flowrate will cause a low output, and the qualified ball cannot be released intime, which affects the quality of the ball.
