In order to make the rotary kiln run stably for a long time, it is very important to keep the running parts in good lubrication condition. The lubrication of rotary kiln has the following characteristics:
(1) Low speed and heavy load, such as the speed of the supporting wheel is generally 5-15r / min, and the bearing pressure of the supporting wheel is tens to hundreds of tons;
(2) When the ambient temperature is high, the surface temperature of the rotary kiln is usually above 200 ℃, which radiates a lot of heat to the surrounding;
(3) It is easy to transport dust and dust to the low end of the rotary kiln, so that the dust can be easily transported to the surrounding environment. These characteristics put forward higher requirements for the lubrication system.
General principles for selection of lubricating oil:
(1) When low speed, heavy load, high temperature and impact load, high viscosity lubricating oil should be selected.
(2) In case of high speed, light load and low temperature, low viscosity lubricating oil should be selected.
(3) High pressure resistant lubricating oil shall be selected for parts with high pressure.
(4) When the parts are greatly affected by temperature, the flash point and condensation point of lubricating oil should be considered in addition to viscosity.
Grease should be selected under the following conditions:
(1) Avoid dust entering the parts in the bearing;
(2) There is no need for regular inspection;
(3) For some parts with low speed, heavy load and high temperature, calcium grease should be used in humid environment, and sodium grease must be used under high temperature condition.
