Process Overview
Pyrometallurgical calcination of spodumene is the core pre-process in the lithium extraction process via sulfuric acid method. Through high-temperature heat treatment, the stable crystal structure of spodumene is destroyed, and solid-phase reaction with sulfuric acid converts insoluble lithium into soluble lithium sulfate for subsequent water leaching and extraction.
Wide Raw Material Adaptability
Compatible with raw materials including spodumene, lepidolite, amblygonite, etc., and adaptable to lump ore, concentrate and other material forms.
Flexible Process Design
Supports single-line production capacity ranging from 3000 t/a to 40000 t/a, flexibly matching production demands of different scales. Compact equipment layout and smooth process flow facilitate continuous production and system integration.
Intelligent Operation
Supports full-process automatic operation, improving operation stability and process traceability.
Energy Saving and Consumption Reduction
Optimized combustion system and furnace insulation structure, equipped with waste heat recovery devices, effectively reduce energy consumption per unit product. Flexible heating options (natural gas / electricity) adapt to regional energy structures and environmental requirements.
