1. Process principle and system composition
1) . Process principle description
Limestone (CaCO) is calcined at high temperatures (about 900-1100 ℃) in the kiln, decomposing into quicklime (CaO) and releasing carbon dioxide (CO ₂). Natural gas, as a fuel, is sprayed into the kiln through multiple burners evenly distributed around the circumference, providing the heat required for calcination and decomposition.
2) Core equipment composition
- Raw material screening and weighing system: vibrating feeder, main belt conveyor, fixed screener, undersize belt conveyor, weighing hopper.
- Feeding system: feeding cart, balancing trolley, winch, wire rope, pulley assembly.
- Kiln body: straight cylindrical steel structure (steel shell, platform, stairs), lined with refractory materials.
- Burner system: arranged in a circular pattern around the kiln body, with a single row of 12 burners, totaling 36 burners. Including natural gas channel, combustion air channel, circulating air channel, and regulating valves for each channel.
- Natural gas supply system: natural gas pressure regulating station, flow meter, quick cut-off valve, regulating valve, pipeline and safety accessories (explosion-proof valve, relief valve, etc.).
- Air supply system: combustion supporting fan (primary air), cooling fan (secondary air), circulating air, pipeline, flow meter, regulating valve.
- Materials distribution system: top silo, vibrating feeder, materials distributor (key to ensure uniform distribution of fabric around the circumference).
- Lime discharge system: bottom lime discharger (tray discharger), lime discharging sealing device (two-stage sealed discharge valve), hydraulic station.
- Cooling system: kiln bottom cooling air chamber (cooling air enters), air distribution device (air cap).
- Exhaust gas system: emergency exhaust pipe for kiln roof exhaust gas, exhaust gas descending induced draft duct, bag filter, induced draft fan, chimney.
- Instrumentation and control system: temperature (kiln wall, exhaust gas, lime temperature), pressure (kiln interior, gas, combustion air, circulating air), flow rate (gas, combustion air, circulating air), CO/O ₂, level gauge, control system (PLC/DCS).
