The output calculation of the dryer cannot be separated from the determination of the evaporation intensity of the dryer, and the evaporation intensity of the dryer is related to various factors, so there is no formula available for calculation, therefore, the determination methods of evaporation intensity of dryers of each manufacturer are different. Since the dryer structure of each manufacturer is basically determined, the main factors affecting the dryer are materials and drying media.
1. Material types: different materials have great influence on the drying effect of the dryer, such as drying clay and slag respectively under the same conditions, after measurement, the evaporation intensity of slag drying is 3-8kg water/(m3 · h) higher than that of clay. This is because the viscosity of clay is relatively large and it is not easy to disperse, so the evaporation intensity is relatively small.
2. Initial moisture content of the material: the greater the initial moisture content of the material, the greater the evaporation intensity. The initial moisture content of the material has obvious influence on the evaporation intensity. For example, under the same other conditions, when the initial moisture content of slag is 25%, it is 8-15kg water/(m3 · h) larger than when the initial moisture content is 10%, because the higher the moisture content of the material is, the easier the moisture is to contact with the high temperature drying medium, the easier it is to evaporate, so the initial moisture should be accurately measured when drying the materials.
3. Final moisture of the material: the greater the final moisture of the material, the greater the evaporation intensity, and the impact of the final moisture of the material on the evaporation intensity is also obvious. For example, under the same other conditions, the evaporation strength of slag is 5-10kg water/(m3 · h) higher when the final water is 10% than that when the final water is 1%, because the moisture of the material is dried, the less moisture, the less easy it is to contact with high temperature medium. The final moisture of the material should be determined by combining the grinding or storage system before and after the dryer and the requirements of the owner.
